Are You Quitting on Day 360?
Hey, everybody! Let me ask you a tough question: are you quitting five days too early? Because I almost did.
I was at a conference, sitting next to this big producer—let’s call him Michael. Everyone warned me, “Casey, don’t bother. He’s a jerk. He’s loyal to someone else. He won’t give you the time of day.” And you know what? They were right. He literally put his hand in my face and said, “Don’t call me.” Twice.
Now I had a decision to make. Do I walk away like everyone else? Or do I persist?
You already know my answer.
For a full year, I stayed on him—professionally, respectfully, and relentlessly. Not in a spammy way. I brought value. I stayed visible. I made it clear I wasn’t going away. And on day 365… he called me. “You got me,” he said. “Send me your cards.”
Here’s what I need you to hear: if I had given up on day 360, I would’ve never gotten that call. I’d never have landed that deal. I wouldn’t be where I am today.
The Trap
Too many people stop just short of their breakthrough. It’s easy to stay consistent for a few weeks. Even a few months. But a year? That’s where greatness is forged. That’s where most people tap out—and where the extraordinary press in.
The Fix
You want to separate yourself from the pack? Be the one who keeps going. Be the one who outlasts rejection. Outlasts silence. Outlasts comfort. Because that’s what earns trust. That’s what earns business. That’s what builds legacy.
So ask yourself: are you quitting on day 360?
Or are you going to stay in it until day 365… and beyond?
I promise you—your persistence will pay off.
Take care, everybody. Now go attack it!
